1. Introduction
Welcome to Triporto. Triporto is operated by Entalabs LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). We provide a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform designed for the logistics and trucking industry. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information from our customers, including fleet managers, dispatchers, and individual owner-operators (collectively, "Users" or "you").
By using our platform, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information that identifies, relates to, or could reasonably be linked to you or your business.
A. Personal & Business Identifiers
- Account Info: Name, business name, DOT/MC number, email address, phone number, and physical address.
- Payment Info: Credit card or ACH information (processed securely via our third-party payment processor; we do not store full card numbers).
B. Logistics & Operational Data
- Load Information: Data related to shipments, bills of lading, rates, and delivery status.
- Active Geolocation: We collect precise GPS location data from your device only while the application is in use to provide tracking and detention-time verification services. We do not track your location in the background or when the app is closed.
C. Technical Data
- Device Info: IP address, browser type, operating system, and app version used for security and performance monitoring.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the data we collect strictly to provide and improve our services, including:
- Service Delivery: Facilitating load management, detention pay calculation, and fleet visibility.
- Communications: Sending SMS verification codes and operational notifications (fleet invitations, load assignments) to your registered phone number.
- Customer Support: Responding to inquiries and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Security: Preventing fraud and unauthorized access to your account.
- Billing: Processing subscription fees and transactions.
Note on Data Selling: We do not sell your personal information or your business's proprietary logistics data to third parties, brokers, or advertisers for any reason.
4. Data Sharing & Disclosure
We only share information with third parties in the following limited circumstances:
- Service Providers: We use trusted third-party vendors for hosting, email delivery, SMS delivery, and payment processing who are contractually bound to protect your data and use it only for the services they provide to us.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, such as a subpoena or a government audit.
- Business Transfers: If our company is involved in a merger or sale, your data may be transferred as a business asset.
5. Your Privacy Rights (US Consumers & Owner-Operators)
As a US-based provider, we honor the following rights for individuals and owner-operators:
- Access & Portability: You may request a copy of the data we have collected about you.
- Deletion: You may request that we delete your personal information, subject to certain legal exceptions (e.g., tax records or fraud prevention).
- Correction: You may update or correct inaccurate account information at any time through your dashboard.
To exercise these rights, please contact us at privacy@triporto.com.
6. Security & Data Retention
- Security: We use industry-standard encryption (AES-256 for data at rest and TLS for data in transit) to protect your information.
- Retention: We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon cancellation, we retain certain records for 4 years to comply with US tax and legal obligations.
7. Driver Privacy (For Fleet Owners)
If you are a fleet owner using our software to manage drivers or contractors, you are responsible for ensuring that you have obtained the necessary consent from your drivers to monitor their location and activity via our platform.
8. Children's Privacy
Our services are strictly for business-to-business use. We do not knowingly collect any information from individuals under the age of 18.
9. SMS / Text Messaging
Triporto sends SMS text messages for transactional purposes related to your account and use of the platform — verification codes, fleet-invitation links, and load-assignment notifications. We do not send marketing or promotional SMS.
No Affiliate Marketing or Lead Generation. Triporto does not engage in affiliate marketing, third-party lead generation, or the sale or rental of mobile information. Phone numbers and SMS opt-in data are never used for these purposes.
Mobile Data We Collect. We collect your mobile phone number and your SMS opt-in record only to deliver the messages you have requested and to honor opt-out requests.
Mobile Information Sharing: No mobile information — including phone numbers and SMS opt-in or consent data — will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Sharing with subcontractors that deliver the service on our behalf (such as our SMS delivery provider) is permitted only to fulfill the messages you requested. SMS opt-in data and consent are excluded from all other information-sharing categories described in this Privacy Policy and will not be sold, rented, or shared with any third party for any other purpose.
Frequency: SMS frequency varies based on your activity in the app — typically zero to several messages per day depending on sign-in frequency and load assignments.
Opt-out: You may opt out of Triporto SMS at any time by replying STOP to any message. For help, reply HELP or contact support@triporto.com.
Carrier: Message and data rates may apply. Triporto is not liable for messages that are delayed or undelivered due to carrier or device issues.
